Refund Policy
Everything you need to know about eligibility, how to request a refund, and what to expect.

Overview
VectorLens is a desktop software application sold as a one-time digital purchase for USD $9.99 per machine license. Because the Software is a digital product that is immediately available for download and activation upon purchase, our ability to offer refunds is limited. Please read this policy carefully before completing your purchase.
Eligibility for Refund
You may be eligible for a full refund of the purchase price under the following conditions:
- Your refund request is submitted within forty-eight (48) hours of the original date and time of purchase; AND
- Your license key has not been activated at the time of the refund request
Both conditions must be satisfied. Refund requests submitted after the 48-hour window, or where the license key has been activated, are not eligible for a refund under this policy.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send an email to support@vectorlens.dev with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:
- Your name and email address used at purchase
- Your order number or transaction ID (available in your purchase confirmation email)
- A brief statement confirming that you have not activated the license key
We will process eligible refund requests within five (5) business days of receipt. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method via Shopify Payments. Depending on your card issuer, it may take an additional three (3) to ten (10) business days for the funds to appear in your account.
Non-Eligible Purchases
The following are not eligible for a refund:
- Requests submitted more than 48 hours after the date and time of purchase
- Licenses that have been activated, regardless of the time elapsed since purchase
- Purchases of maintenance renewal packages or upgrade licenses (unless defective at the time of delivery)
- Situations where a customer purchases multiple licenses for the same machine or user in error — we recommend contacting us at support@vectorlens.dev before making multiple purchases
Defective Software
If the Software is materially defective or fails to function as described at the time of delivery, please contact support@vectorlens.dev within fourteen (14) days of purchase. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue through a software fix or updated build.
If we are unable to resolve a material defect within a reasonable time, we may, at our discretion, offer a refund outside the standard 48-hour window.
Chargebacks
We ask that you contact us at support@vectorlens.dev before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer. Most concerns can be resolved quickly.
Unauthorized or fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent revocation of your license key and may be subject to recovery proceedings.
Consumer Protection
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation. If you are located in a jurisdiction that provides broader refund rights for digital products, those rights shall apply to the extent required by applicable law.
